MIGUEL WALD

Miguel Wald empezó su carrera como traductor profesional en 1984, cuando ya no le quedó más remedio que admitir que ni con el violonchelo ni con el saxofón llegaría a nada en la vida.

Se ha especializado en la traducción de textos sobre educación, cultura y ciencias sociales, así como también en la traducción cinematográfica (para subtitulado).

Es además profesor de traducción.

Fue jefe de redacción de la revista Idiomanía y de la revista mensual del Colegio de Traductores Públicos de Buenos Aires (CTPBA), y fue creador de El Lenguaraz, la revista académica del CTPBA, y coordinador de su Consejo editorial.

Fue también productor y guionista de Idiomanía-TV.

Le encanta correr, y asegura que algún día terminará de decidir si corre desde o hacia. O las dos cosas al mismo tiempo, lo cual explicaría su creciente esquizofrenia.
